Simulations and data analysis on large and distributed computing systems are now a key tool in many fields of science.
This course is aimed at Master’s students and PhD candidates who wish to carry out simulations and analyses on large computing systems.

The weekly lecture and tutorial provide a practical introduction to High-Performance Computing (HPC).
In addition to the necessary Linux basics, key technologies from the HPC context are also covered.
The main focus is on how to evaluate the resource requirements and efficiency of one’s own computations.

We will meet on Monday, 10 October, at 4 pm in W.11.018 to finalise the weekly schedule.
